NOV 04, 2004 (newstodate): Norwegian cargo GSA, Airline Services GSA is seeing steadily growing business with CSA Cargo in the Norwegian market.
-We have served CSA Cargo since the end of 1999, and all through these years volumes have been steadily growing, says Trond Johansen, Airline Services managing director.
-CSA operated nine times weekly this summer, and will fly six times weekly during the winter season, but we are informed that next summer's frequency will comprise 14 weekly flights, which bodes well for our business, he says.
Besides CSA Cargo shipments destined for the Czech market, a significant proportion proceeds to other East European markets, with destinations like Bucharest and Sofia ranking high, alongside Zagreb, Bratislava and Warsaw.
-CSA Cargo has a high profile in many of these markets, and even if they are still not very large, growth potentials are impressive, so we are indeed happy to be able to offer these connections, he says.
According to Mr Johansen, the volumes on CSA are up about 20 percent on last year, and especially this autumn has shown a significant growth, expected to continue into the imminent Christmas peak season.
