NOV 19, 2004 (newstodate): Denmark's IATA export airfreight continued to rise in October, up six percent in volumes.
In October, Denmark's IATA export airfreight totalled 5,692 tonnes.
The strongest increase was seen in exports to the M Eastern markets, up 50.6 percent, followed by S Asian subcontinent, up 32.7, SW Pacific, up 20.5, China, up 6.8, and N America, up 4.4 percent.
In the period January-October, the IATA export airfreight totalled 51,218 tonnes, up 12.9 percent.
During this period, IATA export airfreight for the M East market was up 35.7 percent, followed by Africa, up 16.1, N America, up 16.3, and SW Pacific, up 15.6 percent.
