DEC 17, 2004 (newstodate): The number of Hajj pilgrims from the CIS countries will reach new heights this year.
9,000 pilgrims, mostly from Caucasian states including Daghestan, Chechnya and Ingusjetia will be transported on 14 flights.
Nine flights will go directly from the Daghestan capital Mahajkala, one from Chechnya, and two from Ingusjetia via Mahajkala, and one special flight each from Kazan, capital of Tataristan and Ufa, Baskkinia capital, also via Mahajkala.
All flights will be performed by Daghestan Airways into Medina between January 8 and January 14, 2004, with return flights from January 25 till February 1, 2005.
