FEB 12, 2004 (newstodate): In January, Finnair cargo's total traffic volumes grew by 9.1 percent to 6,069 tonnes.
Cargo on scheduled services increased by 11.5 tonnes to 5,454 tonnes, of which Europe was down 2.8 percent to 2,023 tonnes, while the airline's Asian cargo volumes rose steeply by 33.9 percent to 2,416 tonnes.
Scheduled services across the Atlantic generated a total of 657 tonnes, up 12.1 percent.
Scheduled freighter charter services generated a total of 548 tonnes, down 9.7 percent.
The overall cargo load factor increased 4.3 percentage points to 54.6 percent.
