FEB 19, 2004 (newstodate): Later this year, Georgian airline Caucasus Airlines plans to add a new route from Tblisi to Istanbul.
Caucasus Airlines, established in 2001 and taking to the air for its first flight in November, 2002, currently flies from Tblisi three times weekly to Batumi, Georgia, daily to Baku, Aserbaijan, three times weekly to Yerevan, Armenia, and Sochi, Russia, twice weekly to Mineralnye Vodi, Russia, and once weekly to Dnepopetrovsk, Ukraine.
The airline operates two Embraer EMB-120 aircraft, formerly with KLM Exel.
