FEB 27, 2004 (newstodate): Danish airfreight forwarders have now warned SAS Cargo that they reserve their rights to demand compensation for the losses incurred by the production snags due to change-over to new info systems.
-Early in February we were told that the system to be introduced by SAS Cargo had been tested out with a number of airlines, leading the company to expect a relatively trouble-free introduction with only few snags to be corrected, the letter from the Danish freight forwarders' organisations reads.
-The has proved incorrect. We receive floods of complaints from our members. And even if SAS Cargo still maintains that things are improving rapidly, our members find this very hard to trust, the letter reads.
The letter concludes that the industry would be better off if SAS Cargo would publicly provide an updated status together with a fair and reasonable timeframe for a final solution to the issues.
