FEB 09, 2004 (newstodate): The plights of Danish provider of aircraft maintenance, FLS Aerospace are over, as Swiss company SR Technics today announces the signing of a contract to acquire the company.
The new, enlarged SR Technics Group will have revenues of more than 1 billion USD and become the world's largest, independent solutions provider of technical aircraft services.
Also with the acquisition, SR Technics will expand its product portfolio to include a range of Boeing aircraft.
FLS Aerospace has consistently entailed a heavy toll on the Group's finances, and has been up for sale for quite a long period.
