FEB 17, 2004 (neewstodate): Guillaume Gilleron has been named new GAC Route Development Manager responsible for strengthening the company's logistics business between Europe and Asia Pacific/Indian Subcontinent region.
Based in Singapore and reporting to Hans-Henrik Nielsen, Regional Manager for Freight Services, GAC Asia Pacific and Indian Subcontinent, Guillaume Gilleron will focus on developing markets in France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, and Portugal where GAC operates an exclusive partnership agreement with GEFCO, the transportation arm of the PSA Peugeot Citro�n Group.
Key responsibilities include coordinating the region's sales & marketing efforts, developing new products, growing the customer base, in collaboration with GAC and GEFCO's local offices in Europe, as well as fostering carrier relations.
