FEB 09, 2004(newstodate): Employees of Kazakh airline Pavlodar, to be liquidated by March 1, 2004, are struggling to stay in business.
The liquidation of the their company is part of a major reoragnization and merger of several airlines within Air Kazakhstan that has instead transferred the traffic to another airline.
The employees have written a letter to the president of Kazakhstan urging him to propose the setting up of a new airline based on the assets originally belonging to their current company, including a fleet of Yak-40, Yak-42 and AN-2 aircraft.
