Performance on the Asia Pacific routes continued to grow significantly with traffic up 11 percent on six percent higher capacity. Load factor on this route area thus increased by 3.2 percentage points to 78.4 percent despite the early Chinese New Year in January.
On the North Atlantic, KLM Cargo's traffic dropped by seven percent, but as capacity was 10 percent down on last year, the load factor increased by 2.1 percentage points to 66.9 percent.
The ex-Europe cargo traffic continues to be under pressure, the company says. The cargo load factor dropped four percentage points to 13.1
