FEB 17, 2004 (newstodate): Poland's air cargo export is expected to grow at an annual rate of 5.2 percent between 2003 and 2009, according to a market study.
In 2003, Poland's total air cargo exports were 27,139 tonnes, primarily destined for Europe taking 58.6 percent, followed by the North Atlantic markets, 27.4 percent.
According to the study, produced for Lufthansa Cargo, Asia/Pacific shows the biggest growth potential at 7.1 percent per year, followed by markets in the Near East with 6.6 percent, and the North Atlantics by 5.7 percent.
The analysis expects growth in the European markets to be smallest, at 4.6 percent per year.
