FEB 12, 2004 (newstodate): Tatarstan Airlines' two new Tu-214 aircraft have now been designated to operations.
Replacing the airline's ageing Tu-154, the two leased aircraft will be deployed to serving the routes Nisniy Novgorod-Chita-Beijing, and Kazan-Baku-Delhi, respectively.
The airline also operates a fleet comprising Tu-154, Tu-134, Yak-42, Yak-40, An-26, and An-24 aircraft.
