MAR 10, 2004 (newstodate): New budget airline, WIZZ Air has further expanded in its market by adding a third Polish base for its operations.
Following initial agreements with Krakow and Katowice airports, Gdansk has now also been signed up for operations.
The airline, with a fleet of nine purple and pink Airbus A320 aircraft under a lease arrangement, plans to take to the air after May 1, the date of entry of 10 new EU member states.
WIZZ Air Limited was registered in London, UK in September 2003, and has so far established subsidiaries in Hungary and Poland.
