MAR 12, 2004 (newstodate): Swedish provider of de-humidification systems for aircraft, CTT has landed an order from Qatar Airways for implementation of its system on an Airbus A340-500 long-range aircraft.
The implementation is scheduled for completion by October, 2004, and will be performed at AEDS Sogerma Services in Bordeaux.
Elimination of condensation in the aircraft entails benefits including reduced fuel-consumption due to lower aircraft weight, and improved operational cost and less corrosion.
CTT has so far delivered its systems for use in aircraft types A340, B747, B767-200, B767-300, BBJ och BBJ2 operated by several airlines.
