MAR 08, 2004 (newstodate): In January, the Danish IATA cargo market generated a total of 3,947 tonnes of airfreight.
This was 7.9 percent down on last year in volumes, while IATA turnover fell 12.2 percent indicating a general decline in airline yields.
North America remained the single largest IATA cargo market, comprising 31.2 percent of the total, but down 7.7 percent in volumes and 1.8 percent in turnover.
The second largest market, Japan, comprising 10.4 percent of total volumes, was down 9.4 percent in volumes and 4.2 percent in turnover.
