MAR 16, 2004 (newstodate): In January, Chicago topped the list of Denmark's top 30 international destinations for IATA export air cargo.
Chicago generated a total of 337 tonnes of air cargo, or 8.5 percent of total IATA cargo volumes.
This was an increase by 63.6 percent over last year.
Second on the list came Tokyo with 302 tonnes, or 7.7 percent of the total volumes. This was 6.5 percent up on last year.
New York ranked third with 183 tonnes, 4.6 percent of totals, but down 23 percent on last year.
Singapore was Denmark's fourth largest IATA export cargo city with 148 tonnes of air cargo, 3.8 percent of totals. This was a decrease by 24.2 percent on last year.
Fifth on list came Washington with 126 tonnes in January, 3.2 percent of totals, which was 62.1 percent up on last year.
