MAR 29, 2004 (newstodate): Emirates SkyCargo has announced plans for starting operations into Vienna from May 1, and the company plans to introduce belly-hold capacity to supplement its existing freighter capacity to New York from June 1.
Emirates has also inaugurated its new passenger services to Shanghai, operated with Airbus A340-300 with a cargo capacity of 13 tonnes, supplementing the existing four weekly B747-400 freighter services to the destination.
Emirates SkyCargo will thus offer seven flights per week from April 10 and 11 flights starting May 15, offering more than 570 tonnes of capacity each week.
