MAR 10, 2004 (newstodate): Ezycargo has now been launched in the Japanese market, following earlier introductions in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Ezycargo, launched by JAL Cargo, Singapore Airlines Cargo, Cathay Pacific Cargo and Qantas Freight, and owned by Global Logistics Systems Hong Kong and Cargo Community Network Singapore as a cost-efficient alternative to GF-X, offers links directly with each airlines cargo operating system offering on-line reservations, track & trace capability for shippers and forwarders, and other pertinent features.
Ezycargo will now target China, Korea, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, and seek more participating airlines to boost Ezycargo's capability to handle shipments to and from the AsiaPacific region, the company says.
