MAR 22, 2004 (neewstodate): From March 28, Finnair will up its frequencies to China to 15 weekly departures.
Taking advantage of the introduction of the airline's sixth MD-11 aircraft, Finnair will fly daily to Beijing and, as of the start of June, five times a week to Shanghai. With the three weekly flights operated to Hong Kong, this means that Finnair will be flying to China 15 times a week, which is a 100 percent increase on the capacity just two years ago.
Finnair flies daily to Bangkok, from which it continues four times a week to Singapore and three times a week to Hong Kong. Flights are operated to Tokyo twice a week and, during the summer until the end of September, flights to Osaka will be increased from three to five times a week.
