MAR 17, 2004 (newstodate): Rumours in the Lithuanian media on Lithuanian Airlines pulling out of Moscow are pure speculation, says the company.
-There are absolute nothing in it. In this coming summer program we will continue to operate six weekly SAAB 2000 flights into Moscow as has been the case during the current program, says the airline's press spokesman, Giedrius Sniukas.
Rumours also say that Aeroflot may be closing down their flights between Moscow and Vilnius .
When the three Baltic states become members of EU, the union's strict noise regulations will apply, and this may lead to a suspension of Aeroflot's Tu-134 operations while no official statements have yet been made to this effect.
