APR 13, 2004 (newstodate): After admitting disappointing sales figures for this year's Q1, Airbus can derive some consolation from a deal struck on April 8 with Chinese carrier China Southern Airlines.
The airline has decided to acquire a total of 21 new Airbus aircraft including 15 A320-200 and six A319-100.
Deliveries will start from 2005 and be completerd by 2006.
