APR 15, 2004 (newstodate): With the opening, from May 3, of new routes from Copenhagen Aiprport to Bucharest and Kiev, respectively, Cimber Air will keep an eye on the air cargo markets.
-The new routes are clearly driven by demands in the passenger markets, and our Canadair Regional Jets have very limited cargo capacity. Still we could provide a new alternative to the markets for mail or express services, says Lone Koch, Cimber Air VP.
Cimber Air will operate the two routes six times per week.
Cimber Air has signed a GSA contract in Bucharest with Tarom, while a GSA contract to cover Kiev is still pending.
