MAY 27, 2004 (newstodate): In April, 45 percent of Sweden's export airfreight on IATA carriers was destined for North America as reported by CASS Nordic.
For the period January-April, the proportion was 42.8 percent.
In April this amounted to a total of 3,836 tonnes, totalling 14,711 tonnes during January-April.
This was an increase in April by 18.6 percent, and by 16.7 in January-April, compared to last year.
On Sweden's IATA CASS Top-30 list of cities in April, Atlanta ranks No 1, followed by New York, Chicago and Miami. Los Angeles and Dallas rank Nos 7 and 8, Toronto ranks No 11, with Seattle, Washington and Montreal further down the line.
