MAY 04, 2004 (newstodate): In March, Oslo Gardermoen Airport saw its total cargo and mail volumes up by 10 percent to 6.760 tonnes, relecting the boost by the new Korean Air Cargo route from New York via Oslo to Seoul.
For the period January-March, the airport's total volumes were up by six percent to 18,364 tonnes.
In March, international cargo alone was up 18 percent to 4,188 tonnes, of which 2.278 tonnes were international airfreight exports, up 24 percent.
