MAY 11, 2004 (newstodate): Norway Post and TNT have signed an agreement to provide the postal customers with worldwide delivery services.
From this month Norway Post will start selling Global Express services on behalf of TNT. This will improve Norway Post's express delivery services to its customers, expand area coverage, reduce delivery times and increase
flexibility, the parties say.
The international express products will be offered under the TNT brand and
thus replace the EMS products Norway Post has been selling to date.
-This is a further expansion of our co-operation with the Scandinavian Post Offices. In addition to this new agreement with Norway
Post, TNT has agreements with Sweden Post who sell TNT's SkyPak brand and supply TNT with transport services to its customers in the North and South of Sweden, says Tony Jakobsen, TNT Express Scandinavia Regional General Manager.
