JUN 08, 2004 (neewstodate): Aggregated figures for Air France, KLM Cargo in May show a drop in over-all cargo load factor by 0.5 percentage point to 68.9 percent.
Once again, the decline was generateed by AF Cargo that saw its cargo traffic up by 12.5 percent, while capacity increased by 12.5 percent.
By contrast, KLM Cargo's traffic increased 10.6 percent while the capacity rose 9.7 percentage only, resulting in an increase in cargo load factor by 0.6 percentage points to 76.9 percent.
In the general picture for both companies, load factors were highest in the Asia/Pacific segment, at 74.8 percent, and lowest in Europe at 21.8 percent.
