JUN 01, 2004 (newstodate): Bosnian carrier Air Bosna is in talks with ATR about the acquisition of two ATR -72 aircraft.
Air Bosna will reportedly take over its first ATR aircraft in July, with the second aircraft to follow in October.
According to local media, Air Bosna plans to resume flights from Sarajevo to Amsterdam, Cologne, Frankfurt, Rome and Istanbul.
Air Bosna went out of business in 2003, and the Bosnian government's decision to re-launch the carrier has met with strong warnings from among other the World Bank that would rather see its successor to emerge as a private operator than as a state-sponsored company.
