JUN 18, 2004 (newstodate): Ariana Afghan Airlines is preparing to start a new route to Paris, and more are in the pipeline.
The new destinationa include New York, London, Rome and Amsterdam, but the development pace is hampered by the shortage of aircraft capacity after the Afghan war left most aircraft grounded and destroyed.
Current destinations from Kabul to Frankfurt, Moscow, Dubai and Delhi are served by a fleet of three Airbus 300, three Boeing 727 and one Antonov 24 aircraft.
