JUN 30, 2004 (newstodate): Competition in civil aviation has made its debut in Afghanistan.
In competition with Ariana, Afghan capital groups have launched two new private airline, Kam Air and Pamir, intially offering Afghan domestic flights out of Kabul Airport.
Kam Air is already adding its first international thrice-weekly flight from Kabul to Dubai, and plans further international routes to Delhi, Istanbul and Tehran.
Also in the pipeline by Kam Air is a route to London.
