JUN 10, 2004 (newstodate): Dragonair has wet-leased an Airbus A300B4 freighter from US-based Express.Net Airlines, LLC for a period of one year, allowing it to expand its China and Japan cargo services.
From June 17 and 18 the airline will thus add frequencies on freighter flights to Shanghai and Osaka, respectively, and Nanjing will become new destination in China from June 18 also.
Freighter services to Shanghai will double to 12 a week, up from the present six, while those to Osaka will increase to three a week, up from two. Nanjing, located in the manufacturing hub of the Yangtze River Delta, will be served by one flight a week.
