JUN 30, 2004 (newstodte): Finnair and Aeroflot have signed a code-share agreement covering flights on the route between Helsinki and Moscow.
The agreement will take effect from early July, the parties say.
The agreement covers passenger flights only, but it is expected it may pave the way for a closer cooperation on the new weekly DC-10F freighter service between Moscow and Helsinki, operated since June 1 by Aeroflot.
A further sign of good working relations between the two airlines is the recent announcement by Aeroflot of their contract with Finnair Technical Services for maintenance of their DC-10 freighter fleet.
