JUN 24, 2004 (newstodate): In an effort to boost operations, Finnish forwarding company Kaukohuolinta has merged its sea and air divisions.
Together the two divisions will aggregate a turnover of euro 17 mio in 2004, the company expects.
Juha Isohanni has been named division director, and Ulla Sorjonen will head the air cargo department.
In addition to its head office in Vantaa, Finland, Kauko Group has offices in Turku and Lahti, Finland, Tallinn, Estonia, and Moscow, Russia.
