Traxon India will use ARINC's services to exchange freight data for clearance, and to process e-mails and other industry-related messages.
Traxon India has gained a monopoly in offering the only authorized electronic channel for access to the Indian Customs Electronic Data Interchange System, vital to conform to India's Air AMS requirements.
In 2003, Traxon India processed eight million messages, projecting a total of 11 million for 2004.
More than 350 major freight forwarders in Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Chennai and Bangalore are connected via the Traxon network, enabling exchange of messages with 50 major international carriers.
