JUL 21, 2004 (newstodate): Air Atlanta Icelandic is planning for a continued expansion of its fleet of Boeing 747-200 and -300 aircraft.
-Our B747-200/300 Classic freighter fleet is now up to 10 aircraft with three more aircraft being delivered over the next four months, says Hafthor Hafsteinsson, Air Atlanta Icelandic CEO.
-We expect to have a fleet of 15 B747 Classics before the 3rd quater of 2005 and possibly some -400 freighters if we can get hold of them in the market, he says.
Air Atlanta Icelandic's fleet now comprises 35 B757, B767 and B747 aircraft, including 10 freighters and 25 passenger aircraft.
