JUL 01, 2004 (newstodate): Air France and Iberia have decided to cancel their code-sharing agreements since 21 July 2000 on flights between France and Spain.
Air France is member of SkyTeam, and Iberia of Oneworld, making a continued cooperation rather difficult.
Both airlines will now operate their own flights and inrcrease competition on air routes in each other's markets.
Air France will retain its schedules between France and Spain operating its own aircraft. Iberia is instead stepping up its French presence through its franchise partner Air Nostrum.
