Emirates now operates a fleet comprising 69 Boeing and Airbus jaircraft, including 29 Airbus A330-200, 12 Boeing 777-300, nine Boeing 777-200, five Airbus 340-500, eight A340-300s, one Airbus A310, and five Boeing 747 freighters.
Emirates' order book today includes 45 Airbus A380-800, 30 Boeing 777-300ER plus nine options, four more ultra-long-range Airbus A340-500, and 20 Airbus A340-600 aircraft.
The company has just secured financing by USD111 mio of its sixth out of a total of 10 A340-500, the world's longest-range aircraft, to be delivered before the end of this month.
