JUL 22, 2004 (newstodate): Frankfurt Hahn Airport saw its cargo volumes up by 27 percent during January-June this year, aggregating a total of 90,000 tonnes.
The prime driver behind this was a growth bny 108 percent in cargo on all-freighter operations, totalling 28,000 tonnes during the period.
The airport's forecast for 2004 is 180,000 tonnes of cargo handled, including trucked air cargo.
Contributing to the airport's increase in cargo are carriers including Air France, Aeroflot, Iran Air, Egypt Air, Royal Jordanian, Air Armenia, and MNG Airlines.
