AUG 31, 2004 (newstodate): SAS' plans for re-opening the route between Copenhagen and Sczcecin include further cooperation with Cimber Air to provide aircraft capacity.
The new route will thus be operated with Cimber Air's CRJ200 aircraft.
-As we do not ourselves have the perfect aircraft to match the new routes' demand on passenger seats and range, we will instead build on a cooperation with Cimber Air, using two of their aircraft, says Mikkel J Nielsen, SAS Airline press spokesman.
SAS served the route Copenhagen-Szczecin with Fokker 50 aircraft till its suspension in January, 2001.
