AUG 11, 2004 (newstodate): SkyEurope Airlines, the Slovak budget airline, has announced the opening of a new base in Krakow.
From September 30, SkyEurope will launch a bundle of direct flights from Krakow to Amsterdam, London, Milan, Paris and Rome.
The airline already operates from bases in Warsaw, Budapest, Vienna-Bratislava and Kosice.
The airline says the Polish bases in Warsaw and Krakow represent "only the first step" of its expansion into the Polish market.
