SEP 15, 2004 (newstodate): Danish transport and forwarding company, DFDS Transport has strengthened its position in the Chinese market.
Thus, the company has stationed another three people with DFDS Transport (China).
Based in Beijing, one employee will focus on strengthening the company's position in the north Chinese market, another has been based in Shanghai to support operations in east China, while a third staff has been stationed in Hong Kong to facilitate expansion in that area.
-Increasingly, our customers localise production in the Far East, notably China, and this has intensified the pressure on our Chinese employees. The decision has therefore been taken to send out more people to secure continued expansion in this market, says Henrik Nielsen, DFDS Transport managing director.
