SEP 06, 2004 (newstodate): Turkish aerospace company Tusas Aviation and Space Industry has landed a contract with Airbus to boost deliveries of aircraft fuselage parts.
Tusas Aviation and Space Industry was first commissioned by Airbus in 1998 to produce fuselage panels for the Airbus A320 family aircraft.
But as part of the recent deal by THY to take a batch of 36 new Airbus aircraft including five A330-200, 12 A321-200, and 19 A320-200 aircraft, the Turkish manufacturer will up annual deliveries to 300, eventually 500 units.
