SEP 08, 2004 (newstodate): SAS Cargo has setup up a new fully-owned company, Spirit, comprising its two cargo terminals in Sweden, Stockholm Arlanda and Gothenburg Landvetter.
Together, the two terminals handle about 140,000 tonnes of air cargo.
-We are now seeking partners that can add volumes to the terminals by attracting shipments that are otherwise by-passing them, being instead trucked out of Sweden into European airline hubs on the continent, says Ulrik Marschall, SAS Cargo communications manager.
SAS Cargo is especially eyeing freight forwarders that control the ex-Sweden cargo flows.
