SEP 30, 2004 (newstodate): Turkish Airlines has firmed up an order with Boeing for 15 Boeing B737-800 aircraft.
The airline already operates a fleet of 26 NG Boeing 737 aircraft.
Deliveries of the new airplanes begin next year. The 737-800s will replace earlier 737 models and other airplanes in the carrier's fleet.
