Nov 8, 2005 (newstodate): Having started monthly publication of data in May 2005, Cargo 2000 is preparing for the roll-out of even more performance data in 2006.
In January 2006, Cargo 2000 will publish FWB data that shows booking quality levels from forwarder to airline.
This will be followed, from April, by publishing the NFD performance milestone that monitors "delivered as promised" service levels from airline to forwarders, highlighting responsibility for service failures.
By the end of 2006, all shipments between current members of Cargo 2000 will be measured globally, while today measured only on specific trade lanes.
In October 2006, members have agreed to start publishing data for phase 2 that focuses on shipment planning and tracking at House AWB levels, and provides interactive monitoring of door-to-door movements.
Members have further agreed to raise their target for all key performance indicators to 96 percent in 2006, one percent up on today's levels, and to 98 percent in 2007.
