Nov 3, 2005 (newstodate): From the start of the 2006 summer schedule, KLM plans to return to its route between Billund, Denmark, and Amsterdam with own flights.
KLM has been operating a code-share service with Maersk Air, but with the recent acquisition by Sterling of the carrier the need for a long-term solution has arisen.
Until next spring, KLM will operate the route in a code-share agreement with Sterling Blue.
From March 26, 2006, KLM cityhopper will take over with a Fokker 70 on a thrice daily basis.
