FEB 09, 2005 (newstodate): The Bulgarian Airlines Association has asked the country's transport ministry and the airports in Sofia, Varna and Bourgas to consider a plea for reduction of airport charges.
The Association claims the charges to be much higher than corresponding rates at other European airports.
The Association complains of lack of transparency of the Bulgarian airport charges, and questions if they are to be adjusted after a concessionaire is found to manage the Black Sea airports of Varna and Bourgas.
