FEB 23, 2005 (newstodate): Cyprus-based FOS Logistics has started operations.
Using a leased Air Sofia AN-12 aircraft, the company now operates the route Sofia - Maastricht Athens - Sofia on a twice-weekly basis.
-Our first phase has not been as straightforward as we had hoped. The original plan was for serving Asia but we ran into some documentation problems. So, as an alternative, we are now serving this route, says Antony Coutsoftides FOS Logistics CEO.
FOS Logistics purports to provide a link between Eastern and Western Europe carrying anything from dangerous goods to perishables, cosmetics and general cargo.
