FEB 02, 2005 (newstodate): Icelandic company Bluebird has decided to take in its seventh aircraft, a Boeing 757-200 freighter.
Originally the airline operated a fleet of five B737-300 freighter fleet, but took its first Boeing 757 freighter in May, 2004.
The company's owner and CEO, Thor Kjartanson reportedly says the airline will probably add more Boeing 757 freighters "in the very near future".
More than 80 percent of Bluebird's operations are outside Iceland, but operations control is from the Head Quarters at Keflavik Airport, Iceland.
The airline mainly operates for UPS and TNT.
