FEB 25, 2005 (newstodate): Moscow Domodedovo International Airport can now provide its airlines with Jet A-1 fuel conmplying with international standards.
Till now the airport was only able to provide Russian-made jet fuels -1 and that are allowed for aircraft with Pratt&Whitney and General Electric engines while entailing certain restriction for some Russian and western-made aircraft.
As Russian airlines are increasingly operating aircraft of western manufacture and to serve the growing number of western airlines at the airport, the need for an upgrade of the provision of jet fuel was obvious.
