FEB 01, 2005 (newstodate): In 2004, Norway's total volume of export air cargo on IATA carriers was up a modest seven percent, to 64,206 tonnes.
On the rise were South Asia, up 65,8 percent, followed by Central America, 32.4, Africa, 44.6 and Japan, 10.4 percent.
Falling behind 2003 were IATA exports to North America, down 10.3 percent, and the Middle East, down 5.8 percent.
On the top-30 city list were Osaka with 15.3 percent of total volumes, followed by Hong Kong with 11.2, Tokyo with 10.2, Singapore with 4.7 and Shanghai with 3.7 percent of totals.
